In a world where the path to success and fulfilment often wants us to create a complex puzzle but without a guide, the concept of Jigsaw People Solutions name comes from a deeply personal and universally relatable journey. Personally, like many people, my life and career have unfolded like a sprawling Jigsaw puzzle, with each piece representing a unique experience, challenge, or milestone. How many of us within the industry left school wanting to be a recruiter? I certainly didn’t, I got here through being made redundant from a job I loved within football and Jan McKendry who worked at Pertemps seeing something in me that I didn’t even know existed – passion for helping others.
In work and life, we are perpetually engaged in the process of finding, shaping, and fitting these pieces together. Thus, the vision for Jigsaw People Solutions was born in 2015.
At the heart of Jigsaw People Solutions is a fundamental belief: every individual navigates through their authentic and unique life and career jigsaw. There are moments when everything seems to fall perfectly into place, life flows smoothly, and our professional endeavours flourish. Yet, there are also times when despite our best efforts, a piece seems amiss — when our work-life harmony is disrupted, leaving us feeling unsettled. It is in these moments that the essence of our mission comes to life, emphasising the importance of understanding and navigating these challenges.
The quest for perfection is a common theme in both our personal and professional lives. However, through my experiences, I personally do not believe in perfection, I am not someone that strives for perfection, but I know many people that do and put lots of effort into achieving or should I say trying to find it! If we ever reached a state of flawless existence, complacency would set in, robbing us of our drive, our growth, and the very essence that makes life so rich and varied. It is the imperfections, the missing or misfitting pieces of our jigsaw, which fuel our desire to learn, to improve, and to evolve and be unique and true to ourselves.
Jigsaw People Solutions is not just a company; it is a philosophy and a commitment to recognising and valuing the intricacies of everyone’s journey.
